Evan Williams Extra Aged (Black Label)

This famous bourbon, made in Kentucky, is made up of 75% corn, 12% barley and 13% rye. This bourbon is America’s second best-selling bourbon. The bourbon’s name comes, inevitably, from the man who first opened Kentucky’s first commercial distillery, Evan Williams. This bourbon is made within a a short radius of where Evan Williams buit that distillery. Due to the huge demand for this product it has caused the previous 7 year old bourbon to become a 5 to 7 year old bourbon due to how many people are looking for this amazing drink.

Its aroma would be described as a hint of brown sugar, dried fruit, leathery oak, caramel, honey, crushed mint leaves and vanilla. A lot of characteristics to make that sweet aroma.

The taste is similar as it has been described to taste like burnt brown sugar and maple, canilla, chocolate orange, bttery leather and a faintly smoky dry oak.

Elijah Craig Bourbon

Elijah Craig is what people considered to be the premium and super-premium brand of bourbon whiskey thats produced in Kentucky just like Evan Williams Extra Aged. It was made in Heaven Hill Distilleries. The Heaven Hill Distillery offers the bourbon in either a small batch and single barrel bottlings. This bourbon has been named in honour of Reverend Elija Craig who was a Baptist Preacher in Virgina. In around 1789 Elijah craig founded a distillery in Kentucky, following his statehood in 1792. Therefore the Heaven Hill Distillery decided to credit him in making “true Kentucky bourbon”.

1776 Bourbon

This bourbon consists of 38% of rye and 51% of corn. It is not cold filtered despite that it is 50% alcohol. The flavour is rich bourbon spicy rye, honey, cloves, sweetness, note of chocolate and vanilla. The apparent colour is golden.  The taste of this whiskey is oak-y resin touches, vanilla pod sweetness zesty citrus and a kick of rye.

Knob Creek Patiently Aged Bourbon Whiskey

This whiskey is characterized for its beautiful amber colour. It has a sweet aromas of maple sugar and the woody caramel flavour which you can smell and caramel/fruit with some spiciness taste. It consists of 50% alcohol. This whiskey was produced by Beam Suntory at the Jim Beam distillery. Know Creek is one of the four Jim Beam small batch bourbon brands. Maker’s Mark

Produced in Loretto there is a small-batch bourbon whiskey know as Maker’s Mark by Beam Suntory. It is bottled at 90 U.S. It is sold with a red wax seal. It is 45% alcohol. Other than corn, red winter wheat is used. The distinctive combination of rye, the soft, wheat and rich sweet taste makes the Maker’s Mark one of the most famous bourbons in the world. It has a red was seal which was applied on it manually.

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey

Originally Bulleit Bourbon was created by Augustus Bulleit. His goal was to create his own unique tasting bourbon. However, Augustus mysteriously disappeared while transporting his bourbon from Kentucky to New Orleans. As a result, his creation was also almost lost. Over a hundred years later, Augustus’ great-great-grandson Thomas Bulleit Jr. started the Bulleit Distilling Company.

Bulleit Bourbon Flavour:
Bulleit Bourbon attributes its gentle spicy taste and its smooth finish to its particularly high rye content. It is amber coloured with a scent of sweet oak. It has a dry finish with a hint of toffee.
Bulleit Rye Flavour:
Bulleit Rye has a beautiful red-brown colour. It tastes especially smooth with flavours of spice, vanilla and hints of honey.
The distinct difference between Bourbon and Rye is the Rye content. For example Bulleit Bourbon has around 2*% rye while Bulleit Rye was 95%.
